Amanda Goodie – Physiotherapist

Amanda grew up in Melbourne where she began her physiotherapy career in Private Practice after graduating from La Trobe University. She had always had a passion for Pelvic Health and Continence, and she began her post graduate studies by completing a Graduate Certificate in Exercise and Women’s Health at Melbourne University in 2016. Following a sea-change to Airlie Beach in 2017, she began to focus more on this area of her career, and her curiosity for it has continued to grow. She is currently completing her Masters in Physiotherapy, majoring in Continence and Women’s Health at Curtin University. Having come from a musculoskeletal background, Amanda is excellent at treating any ante-natal aches and pains, as well as returning to exercise following childbirth. She is also able to treat bladder and bowel problems, sexual pain and dysfunction, Men’s pelvic health issues and can assist during and after treatment for gynaecological, prostate and breast cancers.

 

In her time away from work, Amanda enjoys hiking, spending time with her family and friends, and exploring the reef and beaches.
